NEW WAY LIBRARY UPDATE
With over 70 documents in the New Way Library we have just added an informative and enterprising social document of the "New-Way" Motor Company of Lansing Michigan.
The 12 page document is the "CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS OF THE NEW-WAY MUTUAL BENEFIT ASSOCIATION."
The 1913 Constitution expressly provided benefits for all workers of the New Way Motor Company as seen here. [Who wouldn't work for the progressive New Way Motor Company?]
Have a look in the library. Here is THE CONSTITUTION LINK.It's the last one in the table. The photo here shows a downloaded book stapled and bound.
If you want to help us and other enthusiasts with a document, we would love to hear from you. See if yours is listed in the library, and if not - over to you.
For example we are still looking for the instruction of the early 6/7 Hp Horizontal Twins. If you have an original you only need copy it and send it to us. We clean it up and add it to the library for all enthusiasts benefit.

- Membership compulsory for all "New Way Motor Company employees for minimal contribution.
- PRINCIPLE - To practice "charity" and brotherly consideration which tends to more closely bind the fraternal union between man and man.
- OBJECT - The object of this association shall be to create a fund for the aid and relief of its members in case of disabling sickness.
- Insurance was provided
- Flowers sent to sick members.
- Death benefits
- One of the "orders of business" at regular meetings was:- Does any Member know of any sick member or any members family in want or distress.
